Jamie's first Reserve Collection, Edition 1, revealed live. Available for 48 hours only.

An online launch, then 48 hours to purchase.

What it is

Ten fine art prints, chosen by Jamie, sold once.

The Reserve Collection is a set of ten photographs Jamie has chosen for this sale. They are on sale for 48 hours. After that they are never sold again.

The collection launches on Thursday 12 November at 6 pm Paris time, live from her studio. Collectors choose a piece and a size during the 48 hours. Every print is made after the sale closes, then signed, numbered and embossed by Jamie in Los Angeles in December.

Ten pieces

Chosen by Jamie. First shown at the launch.

48 hours

Thursday 6:30 pm to Saturday 6:30 pm, Paris time.

Never sold again

Nothing in the collection will be available again after Saturday.

The sale

What is available, and at what price.

The sale page as collectors will see it during the 48 hours. Ten pieces in four sizes, and one limited edition.

The ten photographs

Each is sold in four sizes: small $300, medium $600, large $1,000, atelier $1,500. There is no limit on the number sold during the 48 hours. The final count becomes that picture's edition size. Two artist's proofs of each are retained by Jamie.

The limited edition

One of the ten is also sold as a limited edition: 25 prints in the large size at $2,500, numbered 1 to 25. It is presented last at the launch. The edition is fixed at 25.

Numbering

Every print is numbered in the order it sold. Patrons receive the lowest numbers, then Starling Club members, then everyone else.

Prices

These prices are a first draft based on current website prices. They are reviewed with Kevin before the pricing letter on 11 October.

The evening

A 30-minute launch, live from the studio. Then the Reserve Collection, Edition 1, is open.

On Thursday 12 November at 6 pm, Jamie goes live from her studio in Apt. For each of the ten pieces she plays a short video, about a minute long, filmed in October, and explains why she chose it. She presents the limited edition last.

At 6:30 the sale opens on jamiebeck.co and the link is emailed to everyone on the list. Jamie then hosts a 30-minute after-party on Zoom for Starling Club members and patrons. Each member's RSVP includes one guest ticket. She shows the artist's proofs and answers questions about the pieces.

The sale closes on Saturday at 6:30 pm Paris time. The videos remain on the sale page for the full 48 hours.

The RSVP

Invitations go to Jamie's audience right away.

The primary emphasis for this season is the RSVP. From 20 September, every letter, post and ad invites people to reserve a place at the launch, and the RSVP list becomes the list of likely collectors for the sale.

Three audiences are invited. Starling Club members and past buyers already know Jamie's work and are written to directly. The new audience is built between now and November through the marketing programme with Bloom Marketing Co: the one link from Instagram, paid campaigns to people who follow her and people who resemble her buyers, Pinterest, email outreach and a newsletter placement.

Everyone who reserves receives the link twice on the day, in the morning and 30 minutes before the launch. Anyone who misses the live receives a link to the recording within the hour, valid until the sale closes. After the close, the sale page shows the collection as sold.
